In an increasingly globalised beauty market, one question obsesses brands: can a single formula really conquer the world? Between climate variations, the biological specificities of different skins and cultural expectations around sensory experience, the challenge is considerable.
To answer it, we orchestrated a large multicentre study, putting one and the same anti-ageing treatment to the test against global diversity. The aim was not to segment, but to verify the universality of a promise.
We deployed a strictly identical 56-day protocol involving 400 women around the world. Evaluations were carried out at four key stages (immediately after application, day 14, day 28 and day 56) to measure how the perception of the product evolved in the short and long term.
To give our client a strategic view, we structured the analysis around two complementary readings:
- The consolidated reading: an overview of the global panel to validate the treatment’s general performance and brand consistency.
- The detailed reading by ethnicity: a fine analysis to detect friction points or, on the contrary, unexpected successes on specific skin types (sensitivity, absorption, radiance).
The final purpose was to provide critical decision support before a worldwide launch. The conclusion is unequivocal: when the methodology is solid, borders fade. The study showed that a treatment’s potential lies not only in its actives but in its ability to generate consistent sensory adherence, whatever the climate or the user’s skin history.
Methodological rigour is the safest passport for exporting a cosmetic innovation.
Whether you want to validate a formula for one specific market or prepare a multi-country roll-out, we support you from protocol design to the final analysis of results.
